Refund Policy – Rules Classes

Effective Date: 20/12/2025

1. Purpose and Philosophy

At Rules Classes, we are committed to delivering high-quality, mentor-led education designed to create meaningful learning outcomes.

Our refund policy is built on a simple and fair principle:

Refund is granted for sincere effort without satisfactory outcome, not for lack of participation.

This policy ensures a balanced approach—protecting both student trust and the integrity of the learning environment.

2. Eligibility for Refund

A student may become eligible for a 100% course fee refund only upon successful completion of the program and fulfillment of all the following participation criteria:

2.1 Attendance Requirement

  • Minimum 80% attendance in live classes is required.
  • Attendance is tracked through system logs.
  • Late joining or passive presence may not qualify as full attendance.

2.2 Assignment Participation

  • At least 70% of all assignments must be attempted.
  • Blank, irrelevant, or plagiarized submissions will be treated as non-attempts.

2.3 Project Completion

  • All mandatory mini-projects must be submitted.
  • The final project must be completed and reviewed by an assigned mentor.

2.4 Mentor Interaction

The student must:

  • Attend at least one 1:1 mentor session, or
  • Actively participate by asking questions or raising doubts during the course.

2.5 Code of Conduct and Integrity

The student must maintain:

  • Academic honesty (no plagiarism)
  • Respectful behavior in all interactions
  • Responsible use of course materials (no unauthorized sharing)

Failure to meet any of the above criteria may result in ineligibility for a refund.

3. Refund Request Process

3.1 Application Timeline

Refund requests can only be submitted after completion of the course and final project submission.

3.2 Evaluation Process

Each request undergoes a structured and fair review:

  • Step 1: Data Review
    • Attendance records
    • Assignment and project submissions
    • Mentor interaction logs
  • Step 2: Mentor Assessment
    • Evaluation of the student’s sincerity and effort
    • Review of learning progression and engagement
  • Step 3: Final Decision
    • A decision will be communicated within 7 working days of receiving the request.
    • The outcome will include a clear and respectful explanation.

4. Decision Authority

  • All refund decisions are made solely by Rules Classes.
  • Decisions are based on objective participation data and mentor evaluation.
  • This ensures fairness, consistency, and academic integrity.

5. Approval and Rejection Criteria

5.1 Refund Approval

A refund may be approved if:

  • All eligibility criteria are met
  • The student demonstrates genuine effort
  • The learning outcome remains unsatisfactory despite sincere participation

5.2 Refund Rejection

A refund request may be declined if:

  • Attendance is below the required threshold
  • Assignments or projects are incomplete
  • There is minimal or no mentor interaction
  • Evidence of plagiarism or misconduct is found

6. Communication Policy

All decisions are communicated with professionalism and respect.

Sample Rejection Communication:

“After reviewing your attendance and participation records, we found that the eligibility criteria were not fully met. Therefore, we are unable to approve the refund at this time. We encourage you to continue practicing with the resources provided.”

We maintain a no-blame, no-debate approach, focusing solely on objective evaluation.

7. Important Clarifications

  • The refund is not automatic and is subject to evaluation.
  • The policy applies only to students who complete the course.
  • This is a learning-focused program, not a passive content offering.

8. Student Responsibility Statement

This program is designed for individuals who are committed to:

  • Attending live sessions
  • Completing assignments and projects
  • Actively engaging in the learning process

Students seeking a passive or casual learning experience may not find this program suitable.

9. Ethical and Marketing Assurance

Rules Classes maintains transparent and responsible communication.

We clearly state:

“This course is designed for serious learners. We expect effort, discipline, and active participation.”

This ensures alignment of expectations and helps maintain a high-quality learning environment.

10. Final Assurance

Complete the course with sincerity. If you still feel it did not help you achieve meaningful learning, your full course fee will be refunded—subject to fair participation criteria.

11. Governing Principle

This refund policy is not merely a financial safeguard. It is a commitment to trust, effort, and educational integrity.
